We also review general submissions on an ongoing basis. Everyone is encouraged to apply. Emphasis is put on finding and encouraging emerging artists without the means to exhibit or realize their ambitious projects otherwise.
In numerous instances, either through open call for exhibitions or the residency program, Gallery Aferro has been the first solo exhibition an artist has had. We are very proud of this. Other firsts include first group exhibition, first involvement as co-creator of a feature length independent film, and many more.
