Jacob Mandel
Jacob Mandel is a photographer, artist, and Curatorial Intern at Gallery Aferro. He is a graduate of Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts. His current project revolves around photography’s role as a medium in the history of art by focusing on the view through the ground glass of a 4 x 5 camera. He is producing paintings, photographs, and is planning installations surrounding a vintage 4 x 5 large format camera.
